Detailed Description of Cleaning and Sanitization for a 3D Mixer

Our 3D Mixer is designed with a strong emphasis on hygiene and cleanability to meet the stringent requirements of various industries.

Mixer Design and Construction
Smooth Interior Surfaces: The mixing chamber and all internal components are polished to a high finish to prevent product residue buildup and facilitate cleaning.
Material Compatibility: The mixer is constructed using food-grade stainless steel (SS316L) for its excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and compatibility with cleaning chemicals.
Removable Components: Key components such as the mixing impeller, seals, and gaskets can be easily removed for thorough cleaning and inspection.
Drainage: The mixer is equipped with multiple drainage points to ensure complete removal of cleaning solutions and product residues.

Cleaning Process
Standard Cleaning Procedure:

Rinse: The mixer is thoroughly rinsed with clean water to remove loose debris.
Detergent Wash: A food-grade detergent solution is circulated through the 3D mixer using a CIP system. The solution is heated to an appropriate temperature to effectively remove product residue.
Rinse: The mixer is again rinsed with clean water to eliminate detergent residue.
Sanitization: A sanitizing solution (e.g., peracetic acid) is circulated through the mixer to kill microorganisms.
Final Rinse: The mixer is subjected to a final rinse with purified water to remove the sanitizing solution.

Manual Cleaning:

For specific components or in cases where CIP is not feasible, manual cleaning can be performed using appropriate cleaning agents and tools. Detailed cleaning procedures are provided in the user manual.

Sanitation Validation
To ensure the effectiveness of our cleaning and sanitization process, we employ rigorous validation protocols. This includes:

ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) Bio-luminescence Testing: To measure the cleanliness of surfaces after cleaning and sanitization.

Microbiological Swab Testing: To detect the presence of microorganisms on critical contact surfaces.
Visual Inspection: Regular visual inspection of the mixer for cleanliness and signs of contamination.
