A PLG-2200*14 disc dryer ordered by our company from a Lithium company in Ganzhou was shipped this afternoon.

The equipment is mainly used to dry lithium carbonate, equipment materials through the use of some 304 stainless steel, carbon steel seal, 150 °C steam heating, a total of 14 layers of discs, including 12 layers of heating plate, 2 layers of cooling plate, shaft seal with packing. During the equipment design process, 8-10% of the water containing lithium carbonate is dried to 0.3%, and the dried product can reach 500kg/h.

The disc dryer is a multi-layer fixed hollow heating tray, transfer mixing, vertical continuous heat conduction-based drying equipment. In the drying process, the heating medium is passed into the hollow discs of each layer, and the wet materials placed on the surface of the disk are indirectly heated by means of heat conduction. Under the scraping action of the rotating lobe, the moisture in the materials that are constantly moving and tumbling is wetted. The parts evaporate at the operating temperature and the steam is discharged with the exhaust of the equipment, so that a qualified dry product is continuously obtained at the bottom of the equipment. The equipment has the advantages of high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, uniform drying, small footprint, and less pollution. It has been widely used in the lithium battery industry in recent years.
